OUR RECIPE COMMUNITY HAS ARRIVED!


If you have been at all active online in the last week, you may have noticed that traffic re all things Thermomix Australia has ramped up a notch and now we are about to hit full speed! We are proud to announce the launch of our Recipe Community and Forum, officially affiliated Thermomix Australia sites.

Not only that, to launch it with a bang, we are announcing a recipe competition that puts little ole Monthly Mouthful to shame! Head over to the recipe community, log in, have a good read and don't forget to bookmark it so you can create, share and vote all before January 15th. THEN, when I return from much needed lounging around and festive eating, I will select from amongst the highest rated, test them for accuracy and taste and send my 20 finalist recipes to our International Jury, who will then sort through to the very best and those 10 will be the final selection and deemed the winners if all criteria are met! (Phew...that was a sentence or two.)

Red Lemonade


Ingredients
100g sugar
200-300g ice cubes
2 limes pithy ends removed
2 lemons pithy ends removed, quartered
2 tamarillos, stalk end removed
500-900g sparkling mineral water
Lime slices to garnish

Method
Place sugar into TM bowl and mill for 10 seconds on speed 10.
Add ice, and fruits and approximately 3-400g water. With dial set to closed lid position, press Turbo button 2-3 times for 1 second each.
Strain through basket and add water to dilute to taste.
Serve with lots of ice and fresh lime slices.
