It was bound to happen; Thermomix has gone social in Australia! YAY! We hope you will all get on board with our brand spanking new Facebook page and all follow us on Twitter! They will be the meeting place for all things Thermomix.
There are more exciting things to follow in the next week, so stay tuned in 'socially' so to speak and in the meantime, here are a couple of Christmas or Entertaining recipes to keep you Thermomixing!
Prosciutto Quiche Cups
Ingredients
8 slices prosciutto
Sprig fresh rosemary foliage only
3 eggs
60g Greek yoghurt
12 black or Kalamata olives, pitted
Method
Pre-heat oven to 180ºC. Butter a 24 hole mini muffin pan.
Cut prosciutto in half and line each hole with prosciutto and set aside.
Place rosemary into TM bowl and mill for 5 seconds on speed 8.
Add eggs and yoghurt and mix for 1 minute on speed 4.
Divide between lined muffin cups. Garnish with chopped olives (1 olive per 2 cups) and bake for 10-12 minutes. Garnish with additional rosemary sprigs.
Serve hot.
Rolled Pavlova
Pavlova Ingredients
230g castor sugar
6 egg whites
Pinch cream of tartar
1½ tsp vanilla
3 heaped tsp cornflour
3 tsp white vinegar
1 tbsp castor sugar (additional)
½ cup slivered almonds
Pavlova Method
Pre-heat oven to 160ºC and line a Swiss Roll Baking Tray (26 x 38cm) with baking paper. Set aside.
Place sugar into TM bowl and mill for 10 seconds on speed 10. Set aside.
Insert Butterfly, add egg whites, cream of tartar and vanilla to TM bowl. Whip until very stiff and glossy for 6 minutes at 37ºC on speed 3 before gradually adding the sugar, cornflour and vinegar for a further 2 minutes on speed 3.
Spread onto prepared tray and sprinkle with additional caster sugar and almonds.
Bake for 10-15 minutes. Turn onto another piece of baking paper, tear away base paper and allow to cool for a few minutes. Roll up and leave rolled until cool, before filling.
Filling Ingredients
300g cream
Few mint leaves
Passionfruit pulp
1 punnet strawberries
2 kiwi fruit, sliced
Filling Method
Insert Butterfly. Place cream into TM bowl and whip for 20-40 seconds on speed 3 until very thick. Spread the cream over the Pavlova surface and top with fruit.
Roll up the Pavlova from the long end. Immediately place on serving plate and chill before serving.

Made the pavlova roll this evening. Sensational everyone loved it. Will make it again for son's birthday this week and have the family coming over. yum!
